A Quick Way To Create Viral Images For Social Media | http://jennanewbery.blogspot.com.au

Every time I log in to Facebook  I always find at least 2-3 motivational image quotes come up on my timeline. People love to share them and it is a great way to drive traffic to your blog if you watermark the image with your blog address.

I personally love making image quotes, it is a hobby of mine. It may seem like a strange hobby but I love to play around with different typefaces to make something pretty. It does take more time than you think though. First you need to find a stock-image that doesn't require attribution, then you need to find a suitable quote, the right fonts and then put it all together in Photoshop or an other image editing program. Creating such a simple graphic can eat away a lot of your time.

Recently I came across a free tool, called Pablo that makes the process so fast, you could create 15-20 image quotes in just a few minutes. It even comes up with a quote for you.

Just choose a picture, click the arrows next to "Quotes" in the top-right hand corner for a random quote, add your logo or website link, choose your size and download. It's that simple.

Now you have an inspirational quote marked with a link to your website to share on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or any other social network. If it happens to go viral then awesome! If it doesn't, well you haven't spent too much time and effort on it so it's no huge deal.

If you are anything like me, you hate having your photo taken and finding a decent photo for your social media profile is a painful task. I will personally take about 50 selfies before I find one that I am satisfied with. Call me insecure, but I hate the way I look in photographs so I spent a large portion of my day creating a personal mascot.

I used Photoshop to create my mascot but there are free online tools that you can use to create your mascot/avatar.

You can create and download your avatar for free for your personal use on social networks or you can pay a small fee for a high resolution image with commercial use rights.

I was impressed with the avatar that I was able to create, their were plenty of options to personalize the face and quite a few outfit choices, I was able to create a manga version of myself that is pretty close to the real thing.

Face Your Manga is one of my favorites. The avatars are very customizable and there are a better range of backgrounds. I love the fact that you can add features suck as wrinkles, tattoos, piercings etc. You can even have your avatar smoking a cigarette or flipping the bird.

You can also create a Simpsons or South Park style avatar for your social media profiles. Or if you want something classic, try a Great Gatsby avatar.

Alternatively, you can hire someone to create a personal, 100% unique avatar for you for much cheaper than you think. At Fiverr.com you can hire a professional Artist/Graphic Designer to create a unique cartoon of you, based on a photograph that you provide for only $5. This is a great option if you are looking for a unique mascot for your brand or business.
